Skating Party

at Skate Time 209

1:30 to 4:30 pm

Corner of Mettacahonts Road and Route 209 in Accord

Admission: $7.50 for roller skating (includes skate rental)

$7.50 for skate board park (helmets required for under 18s, rentals available)

General Admission (non-skating) $5.00 per person.

Free Admission with $25.00 in collected pledges!

All ages welcome -- even if you've never skated.

Entertainment will be announced later.

This is the first of many family-oriented events sponsored by Ulster County Democrats. It's a chance to have fun, show of your skating and skateboarding talent, and to meet fun people. We're also hosting a simultaneous Skate-a-Thon pledge event, in which participants are encouraged to obtain pledges from family and friends. Download the attached pledge form.

SkateTime209 is a brand new nationally recognized 30,000 family entertainment center in Accord, NY featuring a maple skating floor

and a 9,500 square foot indoor skateboarding park. Skate and listen to your favorite music!

Directions:

From Stone Ridge, Marbletown, Kingston and Points North

Take Kingston Exit 19 on the NY Thruway to US-209 South towards Ellenville.
Follow US-209 south for about 20 miles.
Go past "Roundout Valley Grocers", "Saunderskill Farms" and "Rochester Reformed Church" Skate Time 209 is at the next intersection past the Rochester Reformed Church on the right side of the road at METTACAHONTS ROAD

From New Paltz
Take 299 West to Route 44/55.
Turn right onto 44/55.
Take Route 44/55 to US-209.
Turn right onto US-209 North.
Go through traffic light in Kerhonkson past the 2nd PX / Citgo Gas station, which will be on your left. Go past "Napa Auto Parts" and "Kelders Farm". Skate Time 209 is at the next intersection on the left side at METTACAHONTS ROAD

From Ellenville and Points South

Take US-209 North towards Kingston.
Go through traffic light in Kerhonkson past the 2nd PX / Citgo Gas station, which will be on your left. Go past "Napa Auto Parts" and "Kelders Farm". Skate Time 209 is at the next intersection on the left side at METTACAHONTS ROAD

Skate-a-Thon

We're also having a Skate-a-Thon Pledge event. Everyone who brings $25.00 in collected pledges will be admitted free and given a VIP Pass. Skaters can obtain pledges from friends and family for every lap skated. Prizes will be given to the person who raises the most money in pledges AND to the person who skates the most laps.
